Together, we can

Make Travel and Play Accessible for All

Our Mission

At Logan's Landing Project, our mission is to create a more inclusive world for children with autism and sensory needs- starting right here in our community. We work to break down barriers through education, advocacy, and hands-on support.

From sensory-friendly spaces to inclusive play and travel, we're helping hotels, restaurants and public spaces better understand and welcome neurodivergent individuals. Every family deserves to feel safe, supported, and seen-wherever they go.

Who we are

group 2
We’re a small team with big hearts and personal ties to the autism community.
Together, we’re combining lived experience and professional insight to create lasting change for neurodivergent individuals and their families.

Logan’s Landing Project was created with one simple belief at its core: every child deserves to be included. Founded by hospitality professional and autism mom Carrie Biery, the nonprofit was inspired by her son Logan and the need for more sensory-aware, inclusive spaces in everyday life. By blending lived experience with professional expertise, Logan’s Landing works to reimagine travel, play, and community spaces so families of all abilities can participate with confidence and joy.

Guided by a dedicated and compassionate board, Logan’s Landing is strengthened by leaders with backgrounds in autism advocacy, hospitality, education, and behavioral support. Together, they bring diverse perspectives and a shared commitment to building inclusive experiences where all children—and their families—belong.

Logan’s Landing Project is already making a meaningful difference in the community. We have installed a Communication Board at Imagination Station in Bazetta, Ohio and Packard Park in Warren, Ohio, helping nonverbal and minimally verbal children better express themselves through play.

We are expanding accessibility beyond playgrounds by placing Sensory Support Bags in 11 hotels & resorts across Ohio (Including The Grand Resort), 1 hotel in Pennsylvania, and 1 in Kentucky.

Within Event Spaces, we have placed sensory support kits at Covelli Centre, 717 Credit Union Field at Eastwood, and Youngstown State University Stadium.

We have provided Sensory Support Kits to Bazetta Police Department, Mosquito Lake State Park, AWARE, Inc Mercer County Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency.

We partnered with The Residence Inn in Niles to create a dedicated Sensory Room—a calming, inclusive space for families who need it and sponsored equipment for Grace Fellowship’s NEW Sensory Space! And we offer Mobile Sensory Tools for upcoming events!

Looking ahead, we are APPROVED to install a protective fence at Tiger Town Playground in Howland Township to further enhance safety and accessibility for all children. We are currently fundraising for a Fence at Austintown Township Park and for an Accessible Walking & Sensory Trail at Bazetta Township Park.
